Well- it has been ages since I have even thought about blogging! We have been so busy trying to get everything ready for the baby and Christmas! My OH my has time flown by!
Lets get a little update in for everyone who wishes to read about our marvelous lives. Paiton is excelling in school and learning so much these days- even how to talk back to Mommy and Daddy! Paiton enjoys gymnastics and she loves her teacher there. Plusshe is learning some coordination. I’m hoping to put that little tute in dance soon. She LOVES to dance!! She is so smart! That child must be the sweetest, most caring, considerate child that I have ever met. And I’m not just saying that because she is my ownbut she is so sweet. She just started a few months ago to randomly say that she loves you. We will be sitting watching TV and she will say, “I love you Mommy.” Or we could be cleaning up the kitchen from dinner and Paiton will be cleaning up her room or inthe bath and she will yell, “ DADDY!!! I love you.” Another heart melting saying, "Mommy! Daddy! You make my heart so happy." So, So sweet. It melts my heart every time. She is adjusting to becoming a Big Sister. Things haven’t been the easiest for her but she is a huge helper and we are making sure we include her in EVERYTHING.She got to pick out her own special outfit for the baby and wrap it for Christmas and put it under the tree. So exciting! On another note, Paiton is so excited for Christmas! She is loving every part of the Season. She loves the lights, trees, decorations, music and giving gifts and even Christmas Pajamas! You name it and she is every part into it. Its so cute and fun. Gezzz….I love that little girl! I’m excited to see how much she grows and how much she learns next year!
So we have finally got the baby’s room put together. I lack a few things, but I’m sure all in time I will acquire what I need. I wish I had done a few things different with Paiton. Like not putting her name on the $80 diaper bag that I could havereused! OR putting her name on EVERY blanket that she owned. So I have to get something’s and there is some that we just needed to get. Like I still haven’t got a baby bathtub. But that can wait…right?! Or another diaper bag…I’m such a slacker. I’m gettingso nervous and excited all in one. BUT… I still have the heartburn, backache and just the tiredness to remind me that I have a precious jewel that we will soon be holding. And I know it is all worth it but I’m over being pregnant! I’m ready to have this littlegirl!
Since I can’t make my mind up on ANYTHING.. .and I will stress that I mean ANYTHING…. We have successfully for the time being changed the baby’s name. Her name will be (as of this week) Madilyn Michael Reding. I have always loved Madilyn but Iwas never crazy about the spelling of Made- Line. So I changed it to what I wanted. Well partly because I still have to get the input of Tim. He still loves Ryleigh and don’t get me wrong, I loved the name too but it was too boyish with Michael. She needed something a little more girlie. So it was either Madilyn (Madilin) or Addison. Of course I like Madilin and Tim likes Addison. But I let him choose the spelling of her name and as of last night 12-12-11 we decided on Madilyn Michael Reding. Maddi for short.YAY! I was terrified she was going to be nameless up until I had to leave the hospital!
So we are on the downward slope of 2011. I still can’t believe it is December and we are just shy of 11 days until Christmas. Less then 4 weeks until we get to hold our precious baby girl. This has gone so fast I can’t even wrap my mind aroundit sometimes. We have got pregnant, moved, lost our dog and loved ones to name a few things this year. Such a huge year for the Redings. Paiton learned to ride a bike, spell lots of words and many other milestones. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very safe and Happy New Year! Enjoy this precious time with your families!

Dear Sweet October......
So, I haven't had much time to Blog lately but I promise I will try and catch everyone up to speed on the Reding Household. We moved recently (well the 1st of September), and we have been so busy just trying to get organized and to get used to being in the new house. So far, we all love it. Minus the minor things that still need to be done, we really like living "in town".
October is such a fabulous month! This is my FAVORITE time of the year and my FAVORITE month by far. Two precious people in my life were born in this month.... First being my sweet, demanding daughter on October 13th and my sweet, helpful husband on October 16th. I know right, two October birthday's just days apart. This equals TOTAL stress on my life! When to have parties and to make sure each feel special AND to not combine parties! So let the craziness start!
I hope everyone is enjoying pumpkins and scarecrows! Happy October!
Love Much-
Linda

Crockpots, Fall and Football
I have never been so happy to see September! AND I have never been so happy to see the last of the U-Haul. I absolutely hate moving. I distest it. I do not like packing or unpacking or the mess that packing leaves. I can't find anything and I lose track of time! We did get moved to our new house and we are getting used to all the noises and the newness of the place. I think it will be good once everything is organized and put up. I didn't realize how much stuff we aquired and how hard it is to move a child. She has so many clothes and shoes (and toys!). But the good thing is P is loving her new room! SO we will adjust to life on the Southside of town!
Yay for Crockpots, Razorback Football and the Fall weather! I love using my Crockpot in the Fall and Winter and I have used it everyday this past week. I have tried new recipes and they have been a success! If you haven't looked on the Crockpot Girls website at their recipes, I would recommend you drop what you are doing and take a look at all the yummy things you can put in your Crockpot! Perfect for fall and those awesome Saturday Game Days!! I'll be testing and trying 99.9% of all the recipes! It is perfect for the working parents or if you are just busy and don't want to mess with cooking when you get home. Great invention! I love fall and it is my absolute favorite time of the year! My heart is happy!
Best of rest for my friends with babies!! AND happy Crocking!
Love Much,
Linda

So Long Summer!?
Really?! I'm so done with summer people! Yesterday I took a trip to Hobby Lobby and I fell in love with all the fall things! I'm done with the heat, summer and the sun! I was sweating while I was trying to decide which pumpkin I want to add to my collection. Ridiculous! It doesn't matter because to me it's always Pumpkin Time! Its September 1st anyway
So, we are moving! Tim and I decided that it is time to leave our current house and move into a larger place. With two kids, comes twice as much stuff and toys so we had no choice really. I'm excited and stressed out at the same time. We have so much to do to prepare for our move. I still have to finish painting the kids rooms and get the floors scrubbed, curtains hung, etc. WOW. I forgot how much work it is to move!! We were spoiled in our house now, and everything was done when we moved in. Completely new so it was nice. This is an older home, but I still love all the room and space that we will have. I can always fix things up, right?!
Paiton started back at Goddard in August. She loves the school and so do we! I just LOVE that place! We have decided to put the new Reding addition in there as well. So we will have both babies in the same school. That will be nice. Plus Goddard in on South M and that is the street of our new house! Yippy! I do not have to drive all the way across town now! Paiton loves getting her lunch ready for school and she is such a good helper when we get there. I hope she learns a lot and absorbs as much knowledge as she will allow herself too. I just love that little girl!
Well September is a whole new month! New decorations and new festivities! Football, fall, pumpkins, fairs, etc. I could go on. This is by FAR my favorite time of year! I hope everyone has a great month and that all the mommas out there are staying cool! Best of luck to my friends that are soon to give birth to their precious baby!
Love,
Linda

Sweet Summer....or Too Hot to Handle?
WOW.....my baby girl is growing up so fast! I have enjoyed this sweet girl so much. We try to find things to do inside the house since it is scortching outside. I mean really, I have NEVER experienced a summer this hot in my life. My husband works outside in this everyday! I hope he stays safe. I sure worry about him! I also worry about my girl at school when they have outside time. I know they need it, but really? Can't we find more productive things to do inside to keep our kiddos safe? Well, anyway, you will not be finding me outside much at all in this kind of heat! But on another note, we have been enjoying games, puzzles, books, coloring, Sunday Movie Days (which are great for all of us since that does involve yummy popcorn and a great big coke!) and her chalk board! We have had fun learning and growing together and having good family time! We look forward to many more! Friends, take caution if you MUST go outside! Remember to watch your pets closely, check on the elderly, stay hydrated and find some good indoor activities!
Here are a few pictures to share with you! And we have 14 days until we find out what our Sweet Baby #2 will be!!!
Love Much,
Linda

3 Weeks and 5 Months Unitl CHRISTMAS!
(Us at the Dallas Aquarium)
So, we finally have a date on when we will know what Sweet Baby #2 is going to be. Finally!!! I want to know but I don't. Weird, I know. But on the high side, I'm so excited! But I think I will have the results put in an envelope and see how long I can wait it out... Well, this is my LAST TRUE surprise!
The heat is killing me! I hate the heat! I don't mind it being hot, but this HOT? What? Negative. I feel so bad for my hubs who has to work out in it all day long. He is so tired when he comes home. Then I do the normal wifey things and ask him to take the trash out, help with dishes, and get P to bed. Team work, right? I do let him go to bed early to recharge. That counts :-) I hope all of my pregnant friends are staying cool and NOT doing too much in this heat!
Well, we have some pretty special babies that are having birthdays this month! Happy Birthday to Livvy, Skyler and Knol! WOW... time really flies. They are all going up so fast! I wish my work week went by just as fast because it seems to creep by everyday! SO we have a weekend full of fabulous celebrations! YAY for cake and parties! I get just as excited I think :-) What really is cool is that Paiton asks everyday about the parties. She wants to see her "bef friends". Too cute. I'm glad she knows what is going on and she can tell me how she feels. She is EXCITED!
Yes, my baby is growing fast too. I have been trying to buy her birthday stuff head this year and I hope to do the same for Christmas. Just think, only 5 months until Christmas! That means my baby will be here soon. I can't wait for the holidays. And with all the sales, its a perfect time to start shopping! Good excuse to stay in the air conditioner too.
STAY COOL EVERYONE!
Much Love,
Linda
