3 Weeks and 5 Months Unitl CHRISTMAS!

(Us at the Dallas Aquarium)

So, we finally have a date on when we will know what Sweet Baby #2 is going to be. Finally!!! I want to know but I don't. Weird, I know. But on the high side, I'm so excited! But I think I will have the results put in an envelope and see how long I can wait it out... Well, this is my LAST TRUE surprise!
The heat is killing me! I hate the heat! I don't mind it being hot, but this HOT? What? Negative. I feel so bad for my hubs who has to work out in it all day long. He is so tired when he comes home. Then I do the normal wifey things and ask him to take the trash out, help with dishes, and get P to bed. Team work, right? I do let him go to bed early to recharge. That counts :-) I hope all of my pregnant friends are staying cool and NOT doing too much in this heat!
Well, we have some pretty special babies that are having birthdays this month! Happy Birthday to Livvy, Skyler and Knol! WOW... time really flies. They are all going up so fast! I wish my work week went by just as fast because it seems to creep by everyday! SO we have a weekend full of fabulous celebrations! YAY for cake and parties! I get just as excited I think :-) What really is cool is that Paiton asks everyday about the parties. She wants to see her "bef friends". Too cute. I'm glad she knows what is going on and she can tell me how she feels. She is EXCITED!
Yes, my baby is growing fast too. I have been trying to buy her birthday stuff head this year and I hope to do the same for Christmas. Just think, only 5 months until Christmas! That means my baby will be here soon. I can't wait for the holidays. And with all the sales, its a perfect time to start shopping! Good excuse to stay in the air conditioner too.

STAY COOL EVERYONE!

Much Love,
  Linda

Holiday + Food = Happy Momma!

Happy 4th of July!
So, I’m a few days early but I don’t think I’m asking too much by wishing a holiday weekend closer. I’m sure we are all looking forward to that 3 day weekend full of
Family, fun and lots and lots of food (which is important to a pregnant woman!). Along with this lovely weekend, comes awful heat! It is so hot outside! I sat in the sun for about 30 minutes last Saturday and I was burnt to a crisp! But I sure do love my Vitamin D!
Well, I feel like I’m eating my way out of my house. I seem to do nothing but eat. If I crave it, I have to have it. Its such a strange craving for me. I’m not one to just give into anything so for example this morning, I was craving biscuits and gravy- and sure
Enough I had a couple of biscuits topped with yummy, perfectly saucy (and perfectly unhealthy) gravy! Man, it sure was good! Mind you before I ate that, about 2 hours before I had a Pibb and a bagel. Really?! So after my morning feast, I decided to eat some grapes. Those were just as good too. Followed by the famous Breadbox Chicken Salad sandwich! YUMMO! I was stuffed to the top of my throat. It was good. Snack time has finally rolled around and I’m once again stuffing my face. I debated between a banana or chips. I took the bag of Chex Mix actually. So I consider that semi “healthy”. Gosh, who would have though that being pregnant and eating are two hard things to accomplish? Maybe I should just jump right in a not worry about it. After all, its not for me, right?
Well, this holiday season doesn’t bring much to The Reding household. Tim is working almost 7 days a week and almost all day. Usually 4am-8pm. So that doesn’t leave us much time to do hardly anything. But that is okay. Its too hot anyway! So my lovely husband won concert tickets off the radio, so to a country fest I go. YAY. Sunday and Monday will probably bring relaxization for the P monster and I. I’m thinking totally junkin’ and watching movies. That sounds like a perfect holiday with my little monster. I sure everyone has a good and safe holiday weekend!

Love Much,
  Linda
